Another Thursday and another set of seasonal events. This time you’ll be racing in a 69 year old Volkswagen Schwimmwagen, you’ll be racing on the classic circuit of Cote d’Azur and you’ll use a touring car for a possible one race 2 million profit. Walkthrough after the brake.

Lexus IS F Racing Concept '08 - Seasonal Event #5

The first race is on Cape Ring Periphery track and you’ll drive the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen ’42. All tough you can get Cr. 800,000 out of this race, it’s expensive to take part in, so the profit won’t be that big. Get an Engine Stage 1, Sports ECU, High RPM Range Turbo Kit, Fully Customisable Transmission and a set of Soft Sports Tyres from the tuning shop. Set the transmission to a max speed of 150KM/H or 93MPH and you should be able to get an easy win. No matter what parts you buy, you need the customisable transmission for this one.

Next up is the Cote d’Azur, which shows up for the first time in seasonal events, and you’ll have to use a Peugeot 207 GTi ’07. I only bought Soft Sports Tyres and took the lead on lap 3. Next up is another visit to Cape Ring and this time it’s the South version. You’ll be using a TVR Tuscan Speed 6. If you’ve seen Swordfish, you have allready seen this car, but sadly, in this game, it doesn’t come with a mounted gun. I bought a Sports ECU, Racing Air Filter, Catalytic Converter: Sports and a set of Soft Sports Tyres.

If you’ve been frustrated with the Alfa event in the Grand Tour, you may be mad at having to drive the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione again, but I ensure you, it’s not hard this time. Sports ECU, Racing Air Filter and Catalytic Converter: Sports is all I bought and it’s not that hard at all.

In the last one, you can choose out of a list of the Touring Cars in the game. If you’ve done the German Touring Car Championship in the Extreme Series, you should be able to win with that car. Better yet, if you’ve won the Nürburgring 4-Hour Endurance race in B-Spec mode, you’ll win the Lexus IS F Racing Concept ’08. That is also the only Premium car and is also the cheapest eligible car you can get. If you prefer to buy something else, get one of the used cars in the Online Collector’s Store, which has a great assortment of Touring Cars this week.

If you follow this guide, you’ll get a profit close to Cr. 2,5 mill (down from last few weeks) and a 350,000 experience gain like usual. Good luck, and hope you found this useful.
