Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is one of the most anticipated PS3 games this year. It won’t get a regular single player demo, but it will get an online multiplayer demo, and it’s going to be massive.
IGN.com just reported that it will include “four maps, four competitive modes, two co-op modes, the much-hyped cinema mode, the ability to create custom games, access to new skins, about 80 percent of the boosters you’ll find in the final game, and so much more. ”
The four maps included in the demo is Plaza and Village that are returning from the closed beta and two new maps called Ice Cave and Temple. A nice surprise is that Cinema Mode is included. For all you twitter users out there, the demo, and obviously the full game will have support for twitter. As IGN puts it, “If you enter in your Twitter username and password, the game will automatically Tweet your special accomplishments”. The demo will be available for those preordering at Gamestop on september 15th to september 28th, and to everyone from september 29th to the game is released in the US on october 13th. Also note that nothing from the demo will carry over to the full game, meaning you won’t keep your rank and all videos created in Cinema Mode will be wiped. So check out the source link for all the details about the demo over at IGN.com.
